 Local Decision-Making Capabilities

 

Express is a dynamic organization with over 600 Express franchises worldwide. The 14 local Express offices are unique because each owner works within their own office.  This local ownership promotes a work environment where our team truly takes pride in their work and has a passion for helping people succeed.  As a partner, you have access to local decision makers who provide hands-on, relationship-based customer service.  The people dedicated to providing you with the very best customer service from the St. Johns office are:

 

  • Sandi Hess, CSP – Business Development Consultant, St. Johns Express
    Sandi joined the Express Employment Professionals Team in 2002.  She has a CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) thru the American Staffing Association and completed certification through Express University in Outside Sales and Business Development.  In addition, she has a certification in bookkeeping.  Just recently, she completed the Dale Carnegie course of Leadership.  Sandi is one of the top two Business Developers in our organization specializing in outside sales, facility recruitment, and quality customer care to our clients.

Our Internal Team of Experts:


Our internal team plays a large role in the relationship with our clients.  While you have one point of contact to service your account, each individual on our team is well versed on your needs and prepared to support the efforts at our client locations at any time.  Our team consists of the following professionals:

  •  Alicia Budke, CSP, EU Business Mgmt – Branch Manager
    Alicia originally joined the Express team in 2000.  She was hired on by a client of ours and recently returned back to us as our Branch Manager.  Alicia brings an outstanding talent of HR knowledge as well as a full grasp of industry knowledge.  Along with her HR knowledge, she also has been involved with Six Sigma Projects (Green Belt), 5S and Lean Manufacturing, and was involved in preparing a company to reach their goal of VPP status through OSHA. While involved in these responsibilities, she was also the companies Accounting Clerk, where she had a full understanding of payroll, month-end responsibilities and reporting per SOX requirements. She is now holding the responsibility of our Safety Coordinator in the office.  Alicia holds certifications for CSP (ASA), Business Management, Safety Committee Ops (OSHA), Safety & Health Management (OSHA), Ergonomics Awareness (OSHA), Full Charge Bookkeeper and is currently preparing to receive her PHR certification (HRIC).

 

 

  • Julie White, CSP – Account Manager
    Julie White joined the Express Employment Professionals team in 1999 as a Customer Care Coordinator.  She quickly transitioned into the Career Coach role.  With her long dedication and success as a liaison between our clients and associates, she has worked herself into the position of Account Manager for the Industrial Division. Julie is an active member of the Portland Executive Officer’s Club. She holds a CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) thru the American Staffing Association and has completed certification through Express University in Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Business Management. 

 

 

  • Shaiwanna Martin, Staffing Consultant
    Shaiwanna was an exceptional addition to our team in 2007.  She had the direct responsibility of the front desk and coordination of all interviews, incoming calls plus recruiting and retention of our associates. Shaiwanna has grown into a Staffing Consultant and brings a bright smile and wonderful personality to our office.  Shaiwanna strives to help our associates find jobs with the right employers and is always willing to go above and beyond!

 

 

  • Michelle Mehler, Front Office Coordinator
    Michelle is an excellent addition to our team. Her responsibility is to help every associate/applicant achieve success with our services, as well as direct and answer inquiries. She has the direct responsibility of the front desk and coordination of all interviews, incoming calls plus recruiting and retention of our associates.  She is the voice on the other end of the phone when you call our office!
